This Monday, 17 November, together with pianist Yurii Kot, we had the pleasure and the honor of giving a masterclass and a piano duo concert at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Torrevieja, on the occasion of Saint Cecilia’s Day, the patron saint of music.

Our event was titled:

“The Art of the Piano Duo: With Seriousness and With Joy.”

The masterclass was attended by students and professors of the conservatory who are interested in this form of piano performance. For Yurii and me, it was a true pleasure to highlight the high artistic level of all the students who participated in the masterclass, as well as the excellent pedagogical work carried out by their teachers, Mrs. Nataliya Khomyak and Mrs. Maia Chkhartishvili.

We concluded the evening with our piano duo concert.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the City Council of Torrevieja, to Mr. Antonio Quesada Hurtado, Councilor for Culture, to Mr. Manuel Esteban Moreno Viudes, Cultural Affairs Technician, and to the Director of the Conservatory, Mrs. Maria Ortigosa Huertas, for offering us this wonderful opportunity for artistic connection and exchange.
