Today I was lucky enough to take part in an honorable and important event - the celebration of the 43rd anniversary of the founding of the Parliament of the Basque Country in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz! As part of the Ukrainian delegation from the EUSKRANIA - UkraniaSOS community, I had the opportunity to present Ukrainian music and Ukrainian culture within the walls of the parliament, playing my composition "Folk images", built on the intonations of Ukrainian folk songs. The audience also enthusiastically accepted the Ukrainian folk songs that we sang together with the girls from our delegation.

I was incredibly pleased and excited to personally meet the President of the Parliament, Ms. Bakartxo Tejería Otermin, whom I sincerely thanked for the enormous help that the Basque Country provides to Ukrainian refugees who, after the start of the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine, found refuge in this wonderful land.
