Her artistry is a priceless treasure for Ukraine and for Ukrainian culture on a global scale. Her witty remarks during rehearsals are passed from mouth to mouth and written down by young conductors as golden lessons.

Working with her is both incredibly challenging and incredibly easy — because she is Real. She puts her whole soul into what she does, and it's impossible not to want to live up to her standard.

Thanks to Halyna Lukivna, many of my choral works for women’s voices found their path to audiences — and it was precisely with her in mind that I composed them.

The war has changed all our lives, scattering us across the world. But I sincerely believe — and wish from the bottom of my heart — that Halyna Lukivna’s favorite “instrument,” which she masters so perfectly, will once again "sing" under her baton, igniting admiration and thunderous applause.

And I don’t know what Zarathustra once said, but in our time it is Halyna Lukivna who has spoken, and conducted!
